Il CEO di Apple Tim Cook in base alle mail trapelate è stato considerato da Hillary Clinton in qualità di Vice Presidente degli Stati Uniti
Il nome del CEO di Apple, Tim Cook, da alcune mail trapelate tramite Wikileaks, sembra essere nella lista del possibile vice presidente degli Stati Uniti D’America di Hillary Clinton. Insieme al suo si trovano, ad esempio, i nomi di Bill Gates, l’ex sindaco di NewYork Bloomberg.
La scelta di Cook, sebbene possa sembrare azzardata, ha un suo perchè, poichè Cook, lo scorso agosto, ha aiutato il comitato nazionale Hillary Victory Found contribuendo alla raccolta fondi. Lui partecipò, insieme alla Vice Presidente di Apple Lisa Jackson, come cittadino privato e non come l’azienda che rappresenta. Cook è anche un democratico dichiarato quindi appoggia a pieno il partito della Clinton. Infine la Clinton avrebbe approfittato del fatto che il primo amministratore delegato di una azienda come Apple si sia dichiarato apertamente come gay.
La lista in questione è stata comunque una “prima bozza” visto che la Clinton ha scelto come vice presidente Tim Kaine, un vero politico ma non è chiaro se sia stata fatta una proposta a Cook e quale sia stata la sua volontà.

Ok, I can breathe again! Congrats on a fabulous night. I am feeling like it’s possible to get back to the longer term again. Cheryl and I met with Jim Hamilton on Friday to discuss lawyers who can help do the research and vetting that I outlined in the VP vet memo we discussed. We also met with Marc Elias to get his input on firms that have already provided substantial volunteer lawyer assistance and to get prepared to execute non-disclosure agreements with anyone we involve in the process.
We put together the attached notional teams of “report writers” (confidential profiles/public record vet) and “vettors” (deep-dive/oppo-book), and want to run it by you before we execute on the list. Let me know if there are people you would like to see added or removed before we begin the process.
Cheryl, Robby, Jake, Huma, Jennifer and I also did a first cut of people to consider for VP. I have organized names in rough food groups.
